OREM, Utah – Utah Valley women's volleyball held their annual Green and White match this evening, where the White team came out on top 2-1.
 
"It was fun to see the team compete tonight. We have a ways to go, but I'm encouraged by their resolve to get better. I am excited to see our growth and development throughout the year! " said UVU head coach Sam Atoa.
 
The White team dropped the first set to Black before coming back to win in the final two sets of the evening.
 
The Wolverines will play a final exhibition against Utah in Salt Lake City on Saturday, Aug. 24, at 2:00 p.m. MT. Admission for the match at the Huntsman Center is free.
 
UVU will officially open the 2024 season on Aug. 30 when they host Eastern Washington at noon inside Lockhart Arena as part of the Utah Valley Invitational. They will play Kansas City at 7:00 p.m. MT that night before wrapping up the opening weekend with a Saturday 2:00 p.m. MT contest with CSU Bakersfield.
