• Utah Valley hits the road to continue WAC play on Thursday evening against UT Arlington. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. MT at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas. • Utah Valley picked up a hard-fought 75-69 victory over California Baptist on Saturday night at the UCCU Center to remain undefeated in WAC play. The Wolverines used a balanced attack, with four players scoring in double figures, including Dominick Nelson, who finished with 15 points, seven rebounds, three steals, and two blocks. The victory capped off a perfect week for UVU, which also defeated preseason WAC favorite Grand Canyon earlier in the week.
   
• Utah Valley is riding a six-game win streak, including a perfect 3-0 start in WAC play with victories over Abilene Christian, Grand Canyon, and California Baptist. The Wolverines remain unbeaten at home this season with a 7-0 record at the UCCU Center. UVU's current streak ranks as the 10th-longest overall win streak in the country.
   
• Utah Valley holds an impressive 86-20 (81.1%) home record since March 4, 2017, and an all-time 237-66 (78.2%) mark at the UCCU Center as it competes in its 22nd season at the venue. The Wolverines are a perfect 7-0 at home this season and have won 33 of their last 37 games on their home court. • Utah Valley wrapped up non-conference play with three straight wins, including a record-setting 119-59 victory over Bethesda on Dec. 28 at the UCCU Center, where the Wolverines set program marks for points (119) and made field goals (49). UVU also earned road wins over Idaho State and Weber State, led by standout performances from Carter Welling. The Wolverines navigated a demanding non-conference schedule, playing 10 of 14 games on the road and traveling over 15,000 miles.

ABOUT UT ARLINGTON
UT Arlington enters Thursday's game against Utah Valley with a 7-10 overall record and a 0-3 mark in WAC play after a narrow 73-68 road loss to Southern Utah on Saturday. The Mavericks are led by forward/center Lance Ware, who averages 14.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game while shooting 56.1% from the field. Guard Brody Robinson contributes 9.1 points and 3.2 assists per game and ranks fifth in the WAC with an 84.6% free-throw percentage. UTA is dangerous from beyond the arc, leading the WAC in three-point attempts per game (24.6) and ranking second in three-pointers made per game (8.8). Drake Allen scored a team-high 18 points and Trevin Dorius recorded a 12-point, 12-rebound double-double to lead Utah Valley in a 78-65 setback to UT Arlington on March 2, 2024 at the UCCU Center. Allen scored his 18 points on a 7 of 13 clip from the field, including a season-high three shots from long range. He also pulled down six rebounds with four assists. Dorius recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 12 points and 12 rebounds. He also matched a career high with five blocks. Tanner Toolson was also in double figures with 10 points, while Jaden McClanahan helped with nine. Caleb Stone-Carrawell had seven points off the bench.

Utah Valley continues to dominate the paint, ranking 3rd in the nation in blocks per game with an impressive average of 6.4 swats per contest. Ten different Wolverines have recorded at least one block this season, showcasing the team's collective defensive presence. Carter Welling leads the charge with 33 total blocks, ranking 20th nationally in blocks per game (2.20) and 26th in total blocks. Cory Wells is second on the team with 15 blocks, while Hayden Welling has contributed 13 to bolster the Wolverines' formidable interior defense.
