LONG BEACH, Calif. — Utah Valley redshirt junior defender Keegan Oyler has been named to the TopDrawerSoccer midseason Top 100 list, checking in at No. 99.
Oyler is the fifth Wolverine to be named among TDS' midseason top 100 players, joining Omar Yehya (No. 25 overall) and Isaac Emojong (No. 46 freshman) who earned the distinction last season, Blake Frischknecht (No. 30 overall) in 2019, and Paul Hoffmeister (No. 87 overall) in 2016.
A native of Meridian, Idaho, Oyler has been an invaluable player for the Wolverines this season, contributing heavily on both ends of the pitch. Oyler leads the WAC and is third in the nation in assists with eight, while ranking second in assists per game at 0.80.
On the defensive side, Oyler has been pivotal in the team's success, helping UVU to a league-best 0.60 goals-against average that ranks 13th in the country, as well as six clean sheets. Oyler has played the third-most minutes on the team at 813, all but 87 so far this season and all but seven during WAC play.
Oyler and the Wolverines continue league play on Saturday, hosting the California Baptist Lancers at 6 p.m. MDT. Tickets can be purchased at
