Wolverines Seek Fourth Straight WAC Title Thursday at Abilene Christian

OREM—The Utah Valley women's soccer team continues its Texas road swing Thursday night at Abilene Christian in the penultimate match of the regular season. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. MT at Elmer Gray Stadium in Abilene, Texas, with live coverage on ESPN+.

The Wolverines (11–4–2, 7–0–1 WAC) enter on an eight-match unbeaten streak and can clinch their fourth straight WAC regular-season championship with a victory. Head coach Chris Lemay is also seeking his 100th career win at the helm of Utah Valley. UVU has outscored WAC opponents 36–6 this season. UVU remains No. 1 in the United Soccer Coaches Pacific Region rankings. Graduate forward Faith Webber, the reigning TopDrawerSoccer National Player of the Week, leads the nation in shots per game (6.41) and ranks fifth in total goals (16), while senior Ruby Hladek ranks among the national leaders in assists (9) and points (35).

Abilene Christian (5–9–3, 1–4–3 WAC) is unbeaten at home (4–0–2) following a 1–1 draw with Tarleton State. Junior midfielder Abby Smith leads the Wildcats with four goals, including three from the penalty spot, while goalkeeper Bella Medrano anchors the defense with an .825 save percentage and three solo shutouts.

Utah Valley leads the all-time series 4–0–0, including 2–0–0 in Abilene. The Wolverines defeated ACU 5–1 earlier this season in Orem and have outscored the Wildcats 16–4 across the four meetings.
