BOISE, Idaho — Utah Valley continues non-conference play on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 8, traveling to face Boise State at ExtraMile Arena. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. MT, with live coverage on the Mountain West Network and radio broadcast on ESPN The Fan (960 AM/103.9 FM in Utah County and 98.3 FM/105.1 HD2 in Salt Lake City).

WOLVERINES HEAD NORTH FOR ROAD TEST

Utah Valley (1–0) opened the 2025–26 season in dominant fashion with a 116–35 win over West Coast Baptist on Tuesday night at the UCCU Center. The 81-point margin was the largest in program history, and the 116 points ranked third all-time. Jackson Holcombe led five Wolverines in double figures with a 19-point, 10-rebound double-double, while Tyler Hendricks added 16 points on 6-of-7 shooting with seven rebounds and three blocks. UVU shot 56 percent from the field, dished out 32 assists against just eight turnovers, and held the Eagles to 17.7 percent shooting.

Head coach Todd Phillips enters his third season at the helm after leading Utah Valley to a 25–9 record last year and an outright WAC regular-season championship. The reigning WAC Coach of the Year and Hugh Durham Award finalist guided the Wolverines to back-to-back top-three WAC finishes and the program's first-ever WAC Tournament title-game appearance. Phillips owns a 42–25 overall record and a 26–10 mark in WAC play—the most conference wins by any UVU head coach through their first three Division I seasons.
