OREM, Utah – Utah Valley women's basketball travels to the Show Me State this weekend for a matchup with former WAC rival, Kansas City. Tipoff is set for 12:00 p.m. MT / 1:00 p.m. CT from the Swinney Athletic Center.

LAST TIME OUT
The Wolverines started December with a 58-50 setback to Air Force on Saturday inside the UCCU Center.
Tessa Chaney recorded her first double-double of the season, finishing with 15 points on 4-of-12 shooting and an impressive 7-for-8 from the foul line. She pulled down 12 rebounds, including five offensive, to help UVU's offensive effort.
Amanda Barcello added 17 points including going 3-for-8 from deep.
SCOUTING THE ROOS
Kansas City is off to a slow start to the 2025-2026 season with a 2-7 record. They have not beaten a D1 team this season and are coming off an 85-79 loss to Portland State on Saturday. They are led by Preseason All-Summit selection Emani Bennett, who is one of four Roos to average at least ten points a game. She checks in at 16.1 PPG, with her twin sister, Elauni Bennett, entering the contest at close to 15 PPG.
ALL-TIME HISTORY AGAINST KC
This will be the 18
th meeting between the two programs that shared the WAC for a long time. Utah Valley holds a 10-7 edge and enters the game on a one-game winning streak after last season's 72-48 win in Orem. The Wolverines will be looking for their first win in Kansas City since the 2017-2018 season, when they pulled out a 66-59 win.
