LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced its annual All-Region teams Tuesday morning, with Utah Valley's
Avery Page earning honorable mention honors in the West Region.
"I am so proud of Avery. This is a tremendous accomplishment for her," UVU head coach
Sam Atoa said. "Very well deserved. She has worked hard all year to get her to this point for others to recognize her success on the court."
It's the first All-Region honor for Page, who capped one of the most decorated careers in Utah Valley volleyball history. She adds the recognition to a resume that already includes WAC Player of the Year, First Team All-WAC, and WAC Tournament Most Outstanding Player. The Lehi, Utah, native also earned two WAC Player of the Week awards late in the season.
Page led UVU with 341 kills and 403 points during her senior campaign. She added 214 digs and 70 total blocks and recorded at least 10 kills in 16 of Utah Valley's 27 matches. She leaves the program ranked second all-time in aces, fourth in attempts, and fifth in kills, digs, and points.
Page's freshman-year teammate Kazna Tanuvasa was the last Wolverine to earn All-Region recognition, receiving Pacific South Honorable Mention honors in 2021.
The AVCA updated its voting regions ahead of this season, shifting UVU from the Pacific to the West Region, which includes schools from Colorado, Nebraska, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming.
