OREM, Utah – Fresh off a thrilling 79-77 overtime win at Utah Tech, Utah Valley returns home to face Seattle U on Saturday at 2 p.m. MT at the UCCU Center. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+ and broadcast on the Wolverine Sports Network (960 AM/103.9 FM in Utah County, 98.3 FM/101.5 HD2 in Salt Lake County).
WOLVERINES STAY HOT
Utah Valley (19-7, 11-1 WAC) extended its winning streak to four games after edging Utah Tech on Thursday night.
Tanner Toolson led the way with 24 points, including the game-winning shot in overtime.
Carter Welling added 16 points and eight rebounds, while
Dominick Nelson contributed 11 points and eight boards. UVU has now won 14 of its last 15 games and remains alone atop the WAC standings.
HOME DOMINANCE
The Wolverines have been nearly unstoppable at home, boasting a perfect 10-0 record at the UCCU Center this season. UVU is outscoring opponents by an average of 23.4 points per game at home, shooting 52.3% from the field and 41.9% from three while controlling the glass and averaging 7.9 blocks per game.
SCOUTING SEATTLE U
Seattle U (10-15, 5-6 WAC) enters Saturday's matchup looking to bounce back from back-to-back road losses at Abilene Christian and Tarleton State. The Redhawks are led by Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe (14.8 PPG, 9.7 RPG), while John Christofilis and Brayden Maldonado provide scoring depth. Seattle U is among the WAC's best in free-throw attempts and turnovers forced but has struggled on the road (2-10).

Utah Valley and Seattle U will meet for the 29th time on Saturday, with the Wolverines now holding a 15-14 edge in the all-time series following their 70-66 road win at Seattle U on Jan. 25, 2025. The teams split last season's series, with UVU winning 78-72 in Orem on Nov. 28, 2023, and Seattle U earning a 62-61 victory in Seattle on Jan. 26, 2024.
