OREM, Utah — Utah Valley University will host the annual UVU Collegiate Invitational this Friday, March 28 at Hal Wing Track & Field. Spectators are asked to park in lot L-14, directly south of Hal Wing Track & Field. There is no charge for the event. Results will be available via the MeetTrax app or at MeetTrax.com.

Student-athletes from BYU, Idaho State, Salt Lake CC, Snow College, Southern Utah, Utah Tech, Weber State, and Westminster College are all expected to participate in Friday's meet in Orem, which begins with the men's discus at 9 a.m. MT, followed by the women's discus, shot put, and then hammer and javelin, in order, slated to start 30 minutes after the prior event.
 
The jumps will start at 10 a.m. with the men's long jump and women's high jump. Pole vault (11 a.m.) and triple jump (1 p.m.) will follow. The track portion begins at 12:30 p.m. MT with the steeplechase and concludes just after 4 p.m. with the 4x400 race. Utah Valley will have the bulk of its roster slated to compete at the meet.

Next week, UVU will send competitors to the Bay Area for the Mike Fanelli Track Classic and Stanford Invitational, and to the UNLV Rebel ELITE in Las Vegas.
