The Utah Valley men's golf team continues its spring schedule at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic, March 31–April 1, at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Arizona.
Tournament Format
The 54-hole tournament will feature 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday, all played in golf carts with shotgun starts at 7:30 a.m. (PT) both days.
Tournament Field
The 2025 Cowboy Classic will feature a strong 22-team field, including: Gonzaga, Cal State Fullerton, UC Irvine, Southern Utah, Wyoming (host), Utah State, Utah Valley, Air Force, UT Arlington, Wichita State, CSUN, Weber State, Kansas, Cincinnati, Northern Colorado, Long Beach State, Iowa State, Pacific, Arkansas State, Grand Canyon, San Diego, and USC.
Course Information
Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club is a championship course located in Maricopa, Arizona. The course is widely recognized for its challenging layout and desert-style design, playing to a par 72 across 7,546 yards. It has hosted numerous college and professional events and is known for its wide fairways, deep bunkering, and strategic green complexes.
