SANTA BARBARA, Calif.—Dane Huddleston carded a two-round score of 6-under-par 138 (68-70) and sits in third place at the UCSB Gaucho Invitational at Sandpiper Golf Club. Utah Valley is in second place on the team leaderboard after shooting a combined 1-under-par 575 (290-285).

Huddleston recorded nine birdies across the first two rounds and is just one stroke behind individual co-leaders Oscar Holm-Bredkjaer of San Francisco and Luke Cushman of Boise State, who both sit at 7-under-par 137.

Ethan Efford is tied for 14th at even-par 144 after rounds of 74 and 70. Efford tallied six total birdies on Monday.

Paxton Maxwell is tied for 34th after carding a two-round total of 4-over-par 148. Maxwell had five birdies across his two rounds of play.

Andrew Hawk shot 7-over-par 151 (79-72) over two rounds and is tied for 43rd. Hawk recorded six birdies on the day.

Ryan Seamons rounded out the scoring for the Wolverines at 9-over-par 153 (73-80), tied for 49th. Seamons had five birdies in round one and added 12 pars in round two.

Boise State currently leads the 11-team field at 17-under-par 559 (284-275).

Utah Valley wraps up tournament play on Tuesday morning, with the final round set to begin at 9:20 a.m. PT.
