OREM — Utah Valley University women's golfer Chloe Jang has earned a sponsor exemption to compete in the 2025 Epson Tour Copper Rock Championship, set for May 15–17 at Copper Rock Golf Course in Hurricane, Utah.

Jang, a sophomore from Honolulu, Hawaii, who was born in South Korea, will tee it up alongside a competitive field of professionals on the Epson Tour—the official qualifying tour of the LPGA. Her inclusion in the event marks a major opportunity to gain experience at the next level and showcase her talent on a national stage.

"It's an exciting opportunity for Chloe to tee it up this week in the Epson Tour event," said UVU head coach Juli Erekson. "She has been working so hard on her game. This will be a fun event for her to be put in the ring with professionals and showcase her talent. It's great experience as she aspires to join the tour after college. We are thrilled to have her represent UVU Athletics and the golf program."

Jang has competed in 11 events during the 2024–25 season, carding 28 rounds with a 76.3 adjusted scoring average. She recently tied for eighth at the 2025 WAC Women's Golf Championship and has earned three top-10 finishes this season.

The tournament runs Thursday through Saturday, May 15–17, at Copper Rock Golf Course in Hurricane, Utah. For ticket information, tee times, and full event details, visit the official tournament website at CopperRockChampionship.com.
