Huddleston named to PING All-America Team

OREM — Utah Valley University sophomore golfer Dane Huddleston has earned 2025 PING All-America honors from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), becoming the first player in program history to receive the prestigious recognition.

Huddleston was one of 27 golfers named to the Honorable Mention All-America Team after a record-breaking 2024-25 campaign that included five individual titles, a tie for fifth at the NCAA Reno Regional, and the Western Athletic Conference Golfer of the Year award.

"This is another tremendous honor for Dane," said UVU head coach Chris Curran. "He worked extremely hard all year and it's great to see him continue to be recognized for what he's accomplished."

Huddleston finished the year with a 69.8 adjusted scoring average and seven top-three finishes, while ranking as high as No. 45 nationally. His five wins during the season are tied for the fourth-most in NCAA history and are the most ever by a UVU golfer in a single season. He was also named to the PING All-West Region Team and the Golfweek All-America Third Team earlier this month.

The sophomore's remarkable year helped elevate the Wolverines to new heights, as UVU posted two team titles, five top-three finishes, and a berth in the National Golf Invitational.
