OREM, Utah - Utah Valley University had 10 student-athletes named to the 2025 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Track & Field teams on Tuesday. The teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom.
Six members of the team have now received the honor multiple times, with Tuesday marking the third straight season of recognition for
Kelsi Oldroyd, and the second straight season for
Quincy Bonds,
Adam Bunker,
Oakley Olson,
Noah Peterson, and
Kade Thompson. The remaining four honorees are:
Abdulsalam Farah, Eddie Garcia,
Anna Martin, and
Grace Williams. Oldroyd, who was a first-team All-American after her performance at the NCAA Championships, is also a finalist for a spot on the Academic All-America Teams.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must hold a 3.50 cumulative GPA or higher and be at least a sophomore both athletically and academically. Athletically, the individual must also have ranked in the top 50 at a NCAA regional competition (cross country) or hold a top-50 regional ranking in a single event (indoor or outdoor). A maximum of five male and five female student-athletes per combined cross country/track & field program at each school are eligible.
