NEW BRIGHTON, Minn. – Utah Valley wrestling ranked No. 18 in the National Wrestling Media Association's annual attendance report, moving up seven spots from its No. 25 ranking in 2024.
Under first-year head coach Adam Hall, the Wolverines broke their single-match attendance record when 5,053 fans packed the UCCU Center last November for the home-opening dual against No. 3 Oklahoma State. The matchup was among the highest-attended duals in the nation during the regular season.
Utah Valley averaged more than 1,000 fans across its five other home duals. Four of those were held inside Lockhart Arena, where the Wolverines posted wins over No. 23 Oregon State, California Baptist, and Air Force during a three-dual home win streak.
Iowa led the nation in average attendance with 13,640 fans per dual across seven home meets. Rounding out the top five were Penn State, Oklahoma State, Iowa State, and Rutgers.
In the Big 12, teams in the top 25 included Oklahoma State (No. 3), Iowa State (No. 4), Northern Iowa (No. 6), Missouri (No. 16), South Dakota State (No. 17), Utah Valley (No. 18), Arizona State (No. 22), West Virginia (No. 23) and Northern Colorado (No. 24).
