OREM — Utah Valley University women's soccer continues its homestand on Monday afternoon, hosting SEC foe Auburn at UCCU Stadium. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. MT on Labor Day, with the game broadcast live on ESPN+.

Utah Valley (1-1-1) battled to a 1-1 draw against ACC opponent California on Thursday night in Orem. Ruby Hladek delivered the equalizer in the 61st minute for her third goal of the season after the Golden Bears struck first early in the second half. The Wolverines finished with an 18-8 advantage in shots and nearly scored the winner in the final seconds as a header sailed just wide.

Through three matches, Hladek leads UVU in goals (3), assists (2), and points (8), while also pacing the squad in shots on goal (6). Faith Webber has added a goal and an assist, with Nixan Jackson also scoring this season. Senior goalkeeper Leah Wolf has played every minute in goal, recording 18 saves with a 1.33 goals-against average, a .818 save percentage, and one shutout. Utah Valley is ranked No. 5 in the latest United Soccer Coaches Pacific Region Top-10 poll.

Scouting Auburn
Auburn (2-2-1) visits Orem following a 2-0 setback at No. 11 BYU on Friday night in Provo. The Tigers impressed early, outshooting the Cougars 9-6 in the first half, but conceded twice in the final 33 minutes. Senior forward Erin Flurey leads the offense with four goals this season, including a four-goal performance against Kennesaw State that earned her Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week honorable mention. Junior Olivia Woodson (2g, 2a) and junior Dylan Driver (3a) have also been key contributors.

Freshman goalkeeper Ayana Yapo has started every match and owns three clean sheets with five saves, backed by an experienced defensive group featuring seniors Taylor Chism, Hayden Colson, and Asha Means, along with freshman center back Lily Devereaux. The Tigers were picked ninth in the SEC preseason poll under seventh-year head coach James Armstrong.
