9/21/2025 12:06:00 PM

OREM — The Utah Valley men's basketball team unveiled its 2025-26 slate, highlighted by future Big West opponents UC Irvine at home and UC Santa Barbara at the Delta Center, in-state rival Weber State in Orem, road trips to Mountain West foes Boise State, Fresno State and San Diego State, and two games at the Cancun Challenge at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya.

The 15-game home schedule at the UCCU Center tips off Nov. 4 against West Coast Baptist. Non-conference highlights at home include UC Irvine on Nov. 19 and Weber State on Dec. 17, in addition to Idaho State (Dec. 10) and Bethesda (Dec. 20).

Utah Valley makes a challenging run through the road portion of its non-league slate, beginning Nov. 8 at Boise State and continuing Nov. 15 at Fresno State, Dec. 3 at San Diego State, and Dec. 6 at Bowling Green. The Wolverines then head to Mexico for Cancun Challenge games against South Dakota State (Nov. 25) and Samford (Nov. 26) at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya.

On Dec. 13, UVU will meet UC Santa Barbara at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City as part of the Salt Lake Slam, a showcase that also features Utah State versus Illinois State in the doubleheader.

WAC play begins Dec. 29 when the Wolverines host California Baptist. Utah Valley will face each of its six league opponents—California Baptist, Tarleton State, Abilene Christian, Southern Utah, Utah Tech, and UT Arlington—three times apiece, with the regular season wrapping up March 7 at Utah Tech.

The 2025 Hercules Tires WAC Tournament is set for March 11-14 at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Utah Valley enters the season following a historic 2024-25 campaign that included an outright WAC regular-season championship, the program's first trip to the WAC Tournament title game, and an appearance in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT).
