OREM, Utah – Utah Valley women's basketball is set to host California Baptist University on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 2:00 p.m. MT inside the UCCU Center. The Wolverines and Lancers will meet for the second time this season after CBU won the first time in Riverside at the end of December.

The Wolverines fell last night to Southern Utah, 64-60, inside the UCCU Center.
Kaylee Headrick returned to the starting lineup and scored 15 points and five rebounds on 6-for-12 shooting. Sophomore
Cambree Blackham scored 11 points for her second consecutive game in double figures. The UVU defensive effort featured 17 steals, with
Amanda Barcello leading the charge with five and Blackham with four.
LAST TIME AGAINST CBU
The Lancers picked up an 81-52 win in the conference opener on Dec. 29. Four CBU players scored in double figures, led by Lauren Olsen, who scored 20 in the game. Senior
Tessa Chaney scored 12 points for the Wolverines on 6-of-9 shooting while Sorenson added eight points and
Naia Tanuvasa had seven off the bench for UVU. California Baptist had a good shooting night, hitting 46% of their shots from the field.
SERIES HISTORY
The Wolverines have three all-time victories over the Lancers, all of which have come in Orem. UVU has won the last two meetings along the Wasatch Front, including a 59-50-win last season in the UCCU Center, and a 92-89 win back in 2023-2024 in Lockhart Arena.
