OREM, Utah — Utah Valley University wrestling hosting its annual Wrestle-Offs on Friday at 7 p.m. in Lockhart Arena. Fans can get their first glance at this year's roster, with 10 matches expected for Friday's intrasquad dual. Admission is free with the dual streamed on the GoUVU YouTube page. Friday's matchups were set following Wednesday night's pre-Wrestle-Offs in the Wolverine wrestling room.

"Our room is excited for Friday's final wrestle-off," head coach Adam Hall said. "We had a really good summer and preseason, so we expect the product to be better than previous years. We have a good amount of depth on our team, and each spot will be highly competitive. I hope our fans show out on Friday to get a sneak peek on the squad we put together this year!"

Hall enters his third season leading the Utah Valley program and is coming off a season where he sent five qualifiers to the NCAA Championships. This year, he returns two of those five, while also welcoming a third qualifier in transfer Moses Espinoza-Owens, a Utah native who previously competed at South Dakota State and qualified at 174. This year, Espinoza-Owens will wrestle at 165 lbs. Kael Bennie and Caleb Uhlenhopp are the two returning Wolverines who competed in Cleveland, with all three qualifiers ranked in the preseason polls.

FloWrestling has Espinoza-Owens and Uhlenhopp ranked 18th at 174 and 184 lbs, respectively, while Bennie is No. 21 at 197 lbs. The trio is also ranked by Intermat and The College Wrestling Report, with 133 lb. sophomore Geronimo Rivera at No. 28 in that poll. Rivera is slated to compete at 125 lbs. this season.

The Wolverines open the 2026-27 season on Sunday, Nov. 1 at the Clarion Open in Pennsylvania. The home opener will be Friday, Nov. 6 against No. 8 Iowa State in the UCCU Center. Season and single-match tickets are on sale now by visiting GoUVU.com/GetTIX.
