OREM, Utah – Utah Valley women's basketball returns to action Thursday, Feb. 5, for a 5 p.m. MT game against Abilene Christian at Moody Coliseum. UVU won the season's first matchup in Orem, 69-67, on Saturday, Jan. 3.

LAST TIME OUT
The Wolverines knocked off Tarleton State, 70-67, last Thursday inside Lockhart Arena. Amanda Barcello scored 17 points, with two other Wolverines scoring in double figures. Kaylee Headrick added 13 points with eight rebounds on 4-for-9 shooting. Saige Gibb finished with 12 points, three steals and two assists. Utah Valley forced 27 turnovers with 18 steals.
 
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
Abilene Christian defeated Tarleton State on Tuesday night inside Moody Coliseum and enters Thursday's contest at 16-6 overall and 7-2 in conference play. Leading scorer Payton Hull averages 17.4 points per game and scored 27 against the Texans. Guard Erin Woodson has been solid for the Wildcats, averaging 14.1 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.
 
LAST TIME AGAINST ACU
The Wolverines won their second consecutive game against the Wildcats on Jan. 3, 69-67, at the UCCU Center. Kylee Mabry scored a career-high 23 points, shooting 8-for-12 from the field and 5-for-7 from 3-point range. Barcello added 23 points on 8-for-13 shooting with 6-for-9 from beyond the arc.
 
Utah Valley earned its first win over ACU in Abilene last season with a 65-64 double-overtime victory on a Danja Stafford-Collins game-winner with 1.2 seconds remaining.
