ARLINGTON, Texas—The bracket for the 2026 Air Force Reserve Western Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Tournament has been released, with Utah Valley earning the tournament's No. 1 seed following its outright WAC regular-season championship.
Top-seeded Utah Valley will receive a bye directly into the tournament semifinals and will play on Friday, March 13 at 6 p.m. PT/7 p.m. MT at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. The Wolverines will face the winner of the quarterfinal matchup between No. 4 seed UT Arlington and No. 5 seed Southern Utah.
Utah Valley enters the tournament with a 24-7 overall record after clinching its second straight outright WAC regular-season title with a 104-101 double overtime win at Utah Tech on Saturday night. The championship marks the first time in program history that the Wolverines have captured back-to-back WAC regular-season titles.
The Air Force Reserve WAC Tournament will begin Wednesday, March 11 with an opening-round game between No. 6 seed Abilene Christian and No. 7 seed Tarleton State. The winner will advance to face No. 3 seed Utah Tech in the quarterfinals on Thursday, March 12.
The other quarterfinal matchup will feature No. 4 seed UT Arlington against No. 5 seed Southern Utah, with the winner advancing to Friday's semifinal against Utah Valley.
On the opposite side of the bracket, No. 2 seed California Baptist will also receive a bye to the semifinals and will face the winner of the quarterfinal matchup between Utah Tech and the winner of the Abilene Christian–Tarleton State opening-round game.
The semifinal games will be played Friday, March 13 at Orleans Arena, with the championship game scheduled for Saturday, March 14 at 9 p.m. PT.
The tournament champion will earn the Western Athletic Conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. All WAC Tournament games will be broadcast on ESPN+ with the exception of the championship game, which will be broadcast on ESPN2.
