JONESBORO, Ark.—Paxton Maxwell recorded a top-20 finish to lead the Utah Valley University men's golf team Tuesday at the Arkansas State Spring Invitational at RidgePointe Country Club.
Utah Valley finished ninth in the 11-team field with a three-round score of 31-over-par 895 (304-295-296).
Maxwell paced the Wolverines with a 2-over-par 218 (72-74-72) to tie for 16th on the individual leaderboard.
Ty Brady finished tied for 19th with a 4-over-par 220 (74-70-76), while Colby Hutchens tied for 28th at 7-over-par 223 (77-75-71).
Andrew Hawk tied for 59th with an 18-over-par 234 (81-76-77), and Elliot Bond finished 67th at 27-over-par 243 (86-77-80).
Competing as an individual, Isaiah Ellis tied for 40th with a 12-over-par 228 (77-77-74).
Arkansas State won the team title with a 25-under-par 839, while the Red Wolves' Thomas Schmidt claimed medalist honors at 6-under-par 210.
Utah Valley will next compete at the 2026 WAC Men's Golf Championship, set for April 27-29 at the Clubs of Stonebridge Ranch, The Dye Course in McKinney, Texas.
