OREM, Utah — Pennsylvania prep product Jay Singer has signed with Utah Valley University wrestling, head coach
Adam Hall announced. He will join the Wolverines this fall.
Singer recently graduated from national powerhouse Faith Christian Academy in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, where he was a three-time PIAA state placer and has been ranked as high as ninth in the country at 215 pounds.
"Jay is a great pickup for our program. He has competed on one of the best high school teams in the country, is a multiple time Pennsylvania state place winner, and multiple time All-American," said Hall. "We expect Jason to compete for a starting spot right away. He is also an excellent student and will push those around him, athletically and academically."
The Bally, Pennsylvania native also placed twice at the Beast of the East, at Fargo in Greco-Roman, and was a U17 national placer. Singer was recently ranked No. 247 on MatScout's final 2026 Senior Big Board, which ranks the top 250 overall prospects.
His prep career included three straight sectional titles and finishes of seventh, fourth, and fifth at the PIAA state tournament. At Faith Christian, Singer was a part of four state championships, a No. 1 national ranking in 2025 and a No. 4 ranking in 2026 under head coach Ben Clymer.
