OREM, Utah — Utah Valley softball head coach Cody Thomson has announced the addition of Salt Lake CC transfer outfielder and local product Jettlee Ioane to his 2027 roster.
A native of Mapleton, Utah, Ioane spent the last three years at SLCC and will be a redshirt junior this upcoming season. In 2024, Ioane led the Bruins with a .518 batting average while also recording eight home runs, 22 doubles, and 69 RBIs. This past spring, Ioane hit .307 with six home runs, 12 doubles, a team-high four triples, and 45 RBIs. Ioane was named first team All-Region after each season.
Ioane prepped at Maple Mountain HS in Spanish Fork where she was named All-State her junior and senior seasons in both softball and volleyball. Ioane was named first team All-State following her senior season after recording five home runs, 12 doubles, two triples, and 27 RBIs to lead MMHS to the 5A state tournament.
Ioane is the daughter of former NFL defensive tackle Junior Ioane, who played collegiately at Arizona State before playing seven seasons with the Raiders, Texans, and Giants from 2000-07.
Ioane is the third transfer to join the Wolverines this summer after the additions of GCU's Ellie Pond and SUU's Michelle de la Cruz.
