OREM, Utah — Utah Valley softball head coach has announced the signing of College of Southern Idaho pitcher and Lehi HS product Emerson Fuller to join the team for the 2027 season.

Fuller was the workhorse for the Scenic West and Region 18 champions this past season, leading the Golden Eagles with 121.2 innings pitched and 79 strikeouts. Fuller posted a 3.80 ERA with a 16-5 record in the offensive-heavy SWAC, helping CSI to its fifth-straight NJCAA National Tournament appearance. 

In 2025, Fuller was the co-ace of the staff, leading the Golden Eagles' pitching staff with a 2.81 ERA and 57 strikeouts in 82.1 IP. CSI tied with Salt Lake CC for the SWAC championship, but went on to beat the Bruins in the Region 18 tournament.

Fuller prepped at Lehi HS just north of Orem, where she was named first team All-State in 6A as a senior and honorable mention All-State in 5A as a junior. Over those two seasons, Fuller posted a 34-20 record with 274 strikeouts.

Fuller is the 13th and final member of the 2026 recruiting class, following the additions of fellow transfers Ellie Pond (GCU), Michelle de la Cruz (SUU), and Jettlee Ioane (SLCC) earlier this summer. Last fall, Thomson announced the signing of nine incoming freshmen as part of the initial recruiting phase.
