OREM—Utah Valley senior forward Sadie Beardall has been named to the TopDrawerSoccer Women's Team of the Week, presented by Soccer Management Company, the organization announced Tuesday.
Beardall was one of 11 players nationally selected to the team after recording three goals, one assist and seven points across two Big West matches last week.
The South Ogden, Utah, native opened the week with two goals and an assist in Utah Valley's 7-1 victory over Cal State Bakersfield at UCCU Stadium. She followed that performance with another goal in the Wolverines' 2-2 road draw at UC San Diego.
Beardall scored on three of her five shot attempts during the two-match stretch and put four shots on goal. Her national recognition comes one day after she was named the Big West Offensive Player of the Week for the same performances.
The Bonneville High School product was one of three forwards named to the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week, joining Ohio State's Amanda Schlueter and Dartmouth's Madison Rose. Schlueter was named the organization's National Player of the Week.
Utah Valley continues Big West play Wednesday night at UC Irvine. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. MT at Anteater Stadium, with the match broadcast live on ESPN+.
