Redshirt (2024-2025) ...  Bennie finished the season 0-1 … was UVU’s starter in the Oregon State dual, losing to Kekana Fouret by a decision of 11-5.  

Before Utah Valley …  prepped at Layton High School in Layton, Utah … was a two-time UHSAA finalist while helping Layton to a pair of state titles … also earned All-American honors … wrestled club for Sanderson Wrestling Academy.
 
Personal … Hometown is Kaysville, Utah … parents are Jasen and Tara … siblings are Kael, Kenley, and Kambree … Kael has wrestles at Utah Valley … volunteers with his church, tree cleaning, cleaning up after storms, shoveling driveways and dinners for the elderly … enjoys training, wrestling, and drawing.
