FRESHMAN ~ (2005-06): Went 7-9 (1-1 in duals) as a redshirt freshman before a season ending injury ... went 2-2 at both the Old Chicago/Northern Colorado Open and at the Reno Tournament of Champions ... three of his seven wins on the year were by fall. 

REDSHIRT ~ (2004-05): Redshirted the season at Utah Valley.

Prepped at Mountain View High School ... recorded a 36-6 record during his senior season ... lettered in wrestling, football and lacrosse ... placed third in wrestling in the Region 7 meet in 2000 and second in 2001 ... placed fourth in state in wrestling in 2000 and third in 2001.
