Junior (2018): Started the season with a college best of 15:48.9 in 5k at the Utah Valley University invitational … completed the WAC XC Championship with a college best of 24:31.1 and came in 5

Sophomore (2017): Enjoyed a breakout sophomore campaign for the Wolverines with two top-10 finishes… opened season with a sixth-place finish at the UVU Invitational on a time of 16:00.8 in the three-mile race… added a fourth-place finish in the 6K at UNLV with a career-best time of 19:00.4 to help Wolverines secure victory with a perfect score... finished with a personal-best mark of 24:49.6 in the 8K at the 2017 WAC Cross Country Championships.
Freshman (2016): Finished 40
th in the 8K at the WAC Championships with a time of 27:09.7… took 42nd (20:34.1) in the 6K at the SUU Color Country Invitational… recorded a time of 26:57.7 in the five-mile Gold Race in program’s first-ever victory at the Notre Dame Invitational… clocked a time of 26:31.96 in the 8K at the UC Riverside Invitational for a 49th-place finish… recorded (35:50.5) a 112th-place finish at NCAA Mountain Regionals… finished with a time of 28:03 in the 8K at the Indiana State Pre-National Invitational… placed 35th (23:01.95) in the 7K at the Utah State Sagebrush Invitational in UVU debut.
Before Utah Valley…
Participated in cross country and track at Mountain View High School… two-time all-state selection in cross country and track… helped school to back-to-back state titles in cross country in the 2015-16 seasons... won state championships two years in a row in the 4x400 and 4x800 from 2015-16… set school records with his 4x400 and 4x800 relay teams as a senior… Junior Olympic All-American… also lettered in wrestling.

Son of Adonis Jones and Lisa Romero… has two brothers, Andre and Demetrius, and two sisters, Destini and Brooklyn… Andre also runs track at UVU while Demetrius is on the UVU wrestling team... majoring in exercise science.
