GRADUATE - (2022-23): Finished the year 17-5 (5-1 in Big 12 duals) … placed fourth at the 2023 Big 12 Championships after going 3-1 in the tournament … recorded victories over Louis Rojas (CBU) and Scott Joll (West Virginia) … received an automatic berth to his fourth NCAA Tournament and was awarded the No. 15 seed … recorded a major decision in the first round over No. 18 seeded Oklahoma’s Tate Picklo … also defeated No. 33 seed John Worthing (Clarion) and No. 24 Harvard’s Phillip Congigliaro … tied for third on the team in overall wins … led UVU with six major decisions.

SENIOR/COVID YEAR ~ (2020-21): NCAA qualifier ... 2021 All-American after placing sixth at 174 pounds at the 2021 NCAA Championships ... won the second Big 12 title of his career after going a perfect 4-0 at the Big 12 Championships ... 19-2 overall record (6-0 in duals) at 174 pounds ... earned both NWCA Scholar All-American and First Team Academic All-Big 12 honors ... earned the highest national seed in program history as he entered the NCAA Championships as the No. 2 seed in his weight class ... also entered nationals undefeated on the season as he won his first 19 matches on the year ... became just the third wrestler in program history to reach the semifinal round at the NCAA Championships as he opened his 2021 run with three straight wins over No. 31 Jake Logan of Lehigh (9-6), No. 18 Dustin Plott of Oklahoma State (11-5) and No. 7 Kaleb Romero of Ohio State (6-0) ... dropped a hard fought 2-0 decision to the eventual national champion in No. 3 Carter Starocci of Penn State in the semifinals ... then dropped a tightly contested 5-4 decision to No. 4 Mikey Labriola of Nebraska in the consolation semis and had to take a medical forfeit to No. 5 Logan Massa of Michigan in the fifth-place match after sustaining an injury to finish sixth ... won nine bouts over ranked foes on the season (went 9-2) ... became the highest ranked UVU grappler in program history as he was ranked as high as No. 2 in his weight class on the season and fnished the year ranked third on the final NCAA Coaches Panel Ranking ... went a perfect 4-0 at the 2021 Big 12s with wins over Zack Gonzalez of Fresno State (12-2), No. 33 Anthony Mantanona (11-6), No. 29 Cody Surratt of Air Force (12-3) and Jackson Hemauer of Northern Colorado in the title match (6-2) ... also won a titles on the year at the Cal Poly Round Robin and the UVU Round Robin after going 3-0 at each event ... his 19 win led the team ... he also led the team in major decisions (7), tech falls (3) dual wins (6) and dual points (24) ... won one bout by fall, three by tech fall, seven by major decision and seven by decision.
MEDICAL REDSHIRT ~ (2019-20): Was awarded a medical redshirt after missing the majority of the 2019-20 season with an injury ... opened the season with a 2-0 record (2-0 duals) before sustaining a season-ending injury at the Journeymen Northeast Duals on Nov. 9 ... earned First Team Academic All-Big 12 honors.
