FRESHMAN (2021-22): 7-7 overall record (2-3 in duals) at 165 pounds ... went 2-5 vs. Big 12 Conference opponents ... was planning on redshirting the season but had to pull his redshirt when teammate Demetrius Romero sustained a season-ending injury ... won a Roadrunner Open title by going a perfect 4-0 at the event ... capped his season with a 1-2 outing at the 2022 Big 12 Championship ... picked up dual wins over Matthew Olguin of Oregon State and Mitchell Bohlken of Missouri ... won four bouts by decision, two by major decision, and one by fall ... earned First Team Academic All-Big 12 honors.

FRESHMAN/COVID YEAR (2020-21): 10-6 overall record (3-3 in duals) at 157 pounds ... earned NWCA Scholar All-American honors ... posted a seventh-place finish at his first trip to the Big 12 Championships after going 3-2 at the event with a pair of wins over Cayd Lara of Northern Iowa (12-7 & 7-6) and another over Christopher Gaxiola of Fresno State (7-4) ... started the year 6-0 after winning his first six collegiate matches ... won a Cal Poly Round Robin title after opening his collegiate career with a perfect 2-0 outing on Jan. 3 with wins over Cal Poly's Max Anderson (7-3) and Daniel Vizcarra (fall, 1:24) ... also went 2-0 at the UVU Tri-Dual on Jan. 8 and 2-1 at the UVU Round Robin on Jan. 23 ... went 6-5 on the season against Big 12 Conference foes ... won two bouts by fall, six by decision and one by major decision.
