Cross Country: Competed in six meets, including NCAA Championships … named WAC Freshman of the Year … took second overall at WAC Championships, falling short by 1.1 seconds … won his second collegiate race at SUU … took 14th at Mountain Regionals, claiming an at-large berth to the NCAA Championships.
Indoor: Competed in six meets … took gold in the mile and silver in the 3000m at the WAC Championships … named WAC Freshman of the Year … ran program’s first non-converted sub-four mile at Husky Classic with time of 3:58.29 … set school record in the 3000m with a converted time of 7:54.37 at Weber State … briefly held program record for the mile after BYU December Invite, but was later surpassed by Alex Hartshorn … named Academic All-WAC.
Outdoor: Competed in seven meets, including West Regionals … broke his own school record in the 1500m with qualifying time of 3:40.03 after initially breaking it at Stanford … later placed 22nd in the finals of the 1500m … WAC Champion in both the 1500m and 5000m, earning Outstanding Track Athlete honors … also named WAC Freshman and Athlete of the Year, becoming first male Wolverine to sweep Freshman of the Year honors across XC, Indoor, and Outdoor … ran second-fastest 5000m in program history at Bryan Clay with time of 13:49.23.
