Aimaq became the first player in UVU history to earn both WAC Men's Basketball Player of the Year and a WAC Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Year honors after helping lead Utah Valley to a share of the 2020-21 WAC regular-season title .... was named Riley Wallace Player of the Year as the top transfer after beginning his collegiate career at Mercer University in Georgia ... earned the WAC's top overall athletic honor, taking the league's Joe Kearney Award ... led the nation in rebounding at 15.0 boards per game, becoming the first player in 40 years to average 15 or more rebounds per game ... also averaged 13.9 points per game while shooting .485 from the field ... broke a UVU single game school record with 25 rebounds against Dixie State (Feb. 13) ... pulled down 20 or more rebounds in three games ... had 15 or more rebounds in 12 games ... recorded 14 double-doubles in the 22 games he played ... was named the WAC Player of the Week three times during the season ... in addition to being named First Team All-WAC, he was named to the WAC All-Defensive Team and WAC All-Newcomwer Team ... also earned NACBA All-District Team honors ...  was named to the Lefty Driesell Defensive All-America Team after being a finalist for the Lefty Driesell award ... was impressive at numerous NBA Draft workouts with the New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors, and Sacramento Kings in the offseason ... was a standout at the NBA Pro Day in Chicago.

BEFORE UTAH VALLEY
Played in 29 games and earned five starts for Mercer during his freshman season (2018-19) ... averaged 5.0 points and a team-best 5.3 rebounds while averaging 14.9 minutes per game as at Mercer ... shot 51.7 percent from the field as he connected on 62-of-120 shots ... tallied 10-plus rebounds in three games and pulled down a season-best 13 rebounds against Wofford (Jan. 31, 2019) ... also scored a season-high 14 points on 7-of-14 shooting against Georgia Southern (Dec. 8, 2018) ... averaged 4.3 points and 5.3 rebounds during Southern Conference play.
 
HIGH SCHOOL
Played high school basketball at Steveston-London Secondary School ... won two city titles and three district titles at Steveston-London ... earned three city MVP awards and three district MVP honors during his high school career.
