Played in 33 games and made two starts in helping UVU to an outright WAC regular season championship and a national postseason tournament appearance in the NIT ... averaged 4.6 points and 2.1 rebounds per game while shooting 41.4% from the field and 30.2% from three-point range ... scored a season-high 15 points in back-to-back games to open the season in a 92-57 win over Western Colorado (Nov. 4) and an 89-60 win over UTEP (Nov. 9) ... also scored 15 points in a 115-59 win over Bethesda (Dec. 28) ... scored 11 points in a 77-75 win at Murray State (Nov. 22).

Hayden Welling played the past two seasons at UC Irvine where he played in 52 games, averaging 1.5 points and 1.2 rebounds per game ... played in 32 games this past season for the Anteaters, averaging 1.7 points and 1.2 rebounds per game. Hayden connected of 49% from the field last season.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played at Corner Canyon High School where he led the Chargers to a 6A State Championship in 2019 ... earned State Tournament MVP honors ... also earned multiple All-State honors, including a First Team selection in 2019 ... was a two-time All-Region honoree. Hayden averaged 17.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 0.5 steals per game during his senior season ... recorded 890 career points and tallied 353 career rebounds.
