JUNIOR (2016-17)
Played in all 12 tournaments for Utah Valley … average score for the year was 72.65 … led the Wolverines with six rounds in the 60’s … finished par or better a team-best 15 times … best finish of the season was at the Itani Quality Homes Collegiate when he tied for sixth (69-75-69) … finished in a tie for 10th at the OGIO Utah Invitational (75-70) … tied for 12th at the Ping Cougar Classic (74-68-71) … lowest round of the season was 6-under-par at the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational … shot 5-under-par at both the Pizza Hut Pat Hicks Invitational (Feb. 13) and GCU Invitational (March 17).

SOPHOMORE (2015-16)
Bursey played in each of Utah Valley's 11 tournaments during the 2015-16 season  ... led the Wolverines with a 72.63 scoring average on the year ... finished 13 rounds during the season at par or better ... finished in the top-10 in six of his 11 tournaments ... picked up his first-ever collegiate individual tournament title with medalist honors at the Bandon Dunes Championship in March, shooting a three-round score of 5-under-par 208 ... finished in the top-5 in three tournaments ... helped Utah Valley to the team title at the Pizza Hut Pat Hicks Invitational, carding a two-round 3-under-par 141 (68-73), which placed him eighth at the event ... finished ninth at the WAC Tournament with a three-round score of 3-over-par 219 (73-70-76) ... named to the first team All-WAC team ... finished in a tie for fifth at the 2016 Canadian Amateur Championship in the offseason with a four-round score of 6-under-par 276 ... earned two WAC Men's Golfer of the Week awards during the season.

FRESHMAN (2014-15)
Competed in 10 tournaments during his freshman season with the Wolverines ... recorded a 74.11 stroke average on the year ... played four of his 28 rounds under par ... shot a pair of 69s in the final tournament of the season at the PING Cougar Classic (April 23-25) and finsihed finished tied for 10th with a three-round score of 214 (-2) ... his top finish of the season was at the Battle of the Tetons (Sept. 1-2) where he finished 8th with an even par 216 (71-73-72) ... finished the season with 10 tournaments under his belt ... played in 28 rounds with a 74.11 scoring average ... he went under par in four of his rounds, including the pair of 69s at the Cougar Classic.

BEFORE UTAH VALLEY
Attended Gander Collegiate in his hometown of Gander, Newfoundland, Canada ... was a four-time Provincial Junior Champion in Newfoundland ... played in the Canadian Junior Championship for four years running from 2011-14 ... recorded top five finishes in the CN Future Links Atlantics in 2012 and 2014, finishing runner-up in 2012 and T-4th in 2014 ... finished T-6th in the 2013 Canada Games after shooting a course record 63 ... named NLGA Male Golfer of the Year in 2013 ... competed in the 2012 Canadian Amateur ... won his first men[apos]s club championship in Gander at age 13, needing a special exemption in order to compete at the event ... also played hockey growing up ... is the first native Newfoundlander to play NCAA DI golf.
