At Utah Valley ...SENIOR ~ (2010): Was an All-GWC First-Team selection and an All-PCSC Honorable Mention selection...Was the GWC Player of the Week one time...Started all 58 games in which she appeared...Hit .279 with five doubles, three triples, four homer and 38 RBIs...Had an 11-game hitting streak...Belted a grand slam against Utah State on Mar. 30...Had 10 multi-hit games...Also drove in four against Idaho State on May 1...Had a six-game stretch where she drove in 13 runs.
JUNIOR ~ (2009): 2009 NCAA Division I All Independent Honorable Mention selection ... named to the Great West Conference All-Academic Team ... in her first season at UVU she made an immediate impact both at the plate and from the circle ... was a true utility player as she started games in right field, left field, second base, third base, pitcher, and as the designated player ... hit .371 on the year ... had a high slugging percentage of .524 and an on base percentage of .442 ... second on the team in doubles with 10 and third in total hits with 48 in 40 games played ... had two home runs and 21 RBIs ... produced all season long in the clutch as she hit .419 with runners in scoring position, including an impressive .571 clip with the bases loaded ... she had not pitched since high school but when Coach Fairbourne needed another pitcher this season she stepped up and appeared in 18 games and pitched 64.1 innings ... finished with a 2-8 record and a 6.53 ERA ... had 10 multi-hit games as well as an eight-game hitting streak on the year.
Before Utah Valley ... Prepped at Bingham HS where she pitched and played second base ... her high school team took second place in the state three years in a row ... also played basketball and volleyball in high school.
Other College ... Played one year at Iowa Lakes Community College and one year at Idaho State ... set school record at ILCC for doubles in a season and was an All-Region Honorable Mention.
Personal ... Graduated with a 3.97 GPA in high school, was on the honor roll, and was named Academic All-State in softball ... also earned numerous Academic Athlete awards for various sports and earned the Presidential Academic Award in grades 9-12 ... enjoys spending time with son, camping, fishing, and playing sports.
