Clint Burgi has been with Utah Valley University since 2004 and during his time has served as the Sports Information Director, the Assistant AD for Sports Information and now as the Sr. Associate Athletic Director for Communications and Marketing.
He oversees the sports information department, which handles all media relations, public relations, video and statistics and also the athletics marketing office. Burgi also serves as the sport administrator for the Utah Valley wrestling and women's basketball programs.Â
Burgi is the primary communications contact for wrestling and has served as the contact for every sport at UVU during his 20-year career. He's also done play-by-play for baseball and women's basketball as well as filled in on men's basketball.Â
Prior to 2004, Burgi worked for four years at ABC 4 TV in Salt Lake City and during his time there worked as a camera operator, Chyron operator, video editor and also interned in the sports department.

He attended UVU (then UVSC) in the late 90’s, working as the assistant sports editor for The College Times (now UVU Review). He was also the TV producer for the student-ran, and now defunct, NetXNews.

He received an associate’s degree from Utah Valley and completed a bachelor’s in communication from the University of Utah in 2002. He completed his MS in Recreation and Sport Administration from Western Kentucky University in 2014.
Burgi is the father of four (Sabrina, Halle, Carter, and Kenji) and resides in Orem.
