Xojian Harry

OREM, Utah — Utah Valley University head coach Dan Nielson has announced the addition of Xojian Harry as an assistant coach on his women’s basketball staff. Harry was most recently the director of operations at Brigham Young University.
 
A native of Bountiful, Utah, Harry played at BYU from 2011-15. Nielson was an assistant coach for the program during Harry’s final two seasons.
 
Harry spent the 2021-22 season on staff at BYU in a year the team set a program record for the most regular season wins in program history (25) and finished No. 20 in the AP Poll.
 
Her playing career included three NCAA Tournament appearances, including a Sweet 16 run during her junior season. A co-captain her senior year, Harry was named to the West Coast Conference Commissioner’s Bronze Roll three times and was a two-time WCC Academic honorable mention selection.
 
During the 2012-13 season as a sophomore, she played on a team that included current UVU assistant Keilani Unga, and former assistants Morgan Bailey and Ashley Garfield.
 
Harry graduated from Brigham Young in 2015 with an exercise science degree.
