At Utah Valley

FRESHMAN (2015-16): Played in seven games… had a career-high nine rebounds in her first nine minutes of play over Bethesda.. also picked up a steal and a block in contest over Bethesda…made one field goal in  each of UVU's contests against Bethesda, Chicago State and UMKC….
 
Before Utah Valley...
Nielson led her team to the division playoffs two consecutive years... voted Most Valuable Player at Highland HS...qualified for playoff games in tournaments in Arizona, including the annual Turkey Bowl.

Personal...
Nielson has made community service a priority by founding Hadley's Vision, a non-profit project that helps underprivileged children get the attention needed to help correct their vision. For her endeavors, she was honored with the Arizona Golden Rule Award.
