Lexi Robison enters her second season as an assistant coach for Utah Valley. Robison joined the coaching staff last season after a stellar four-year playing career that culminated with WAC Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2014.
In her first season as an assistant coach at Utah Valley in 2015, Robison helped the Wolverines to their most successful season in school history. The team won a school-record 14 matches, went unbeaten (9-0-1) at home, won the WAC Tournament championship and made its first-ever appearance at the NCAA Tournament.
The second-year coach led Utah Valley to a school-record 13 wins in 2014 and anchored the Wolverine defense to a school-record nine shutouts. She helped UVU to a goals allowed average of just 0.86 last year. Her defensive effort last season earned her WAC Defensive Player of the Year and first team all-WAC honors.
Robison played in 80 matches for UVU, making a school-record 75 starts. She registered seven goals, eight assists, 22 points, 115 shots and 48 shots on goal during her time at UVU. She was a two-time all-conference honoree.
Robison was also impressive in the classroom, earning three academic all-conference honors. She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in exercise science and outdoor recreation from Utah Valley in 2015.
