Started 17 out of 19 games in first season at UVU ... second on team with 20 points ... tied for second on the team with six goals ... second on team with eight assists ... had 17 shots and 35 shots on goal for a .486 SOG% ... logged 1,097 minutes ... scored two game-winning goals, both against NJIT ... second game-winner came in United Soccer Conference semifinals in Farmville, Virginia ... scored two goals in season-opening 5-0 win over North Dakota ... had two assists in 3-2 win over Northern Colorado and two assists in 4-0 win over South Carolina State ... also had goals against Southern Utah and Longwood.

BEFORE UTAH VALLEY
Played one season at New Mexico, starting all 17 games for the Lobos and finishing with one goal and one assist ... scored lone goal of the season on September 8th against the Wolverines in Albuquerque, a 3-1 UVU loss to UNM.

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Timpanogos High School in Orem ... named first team all-region and Region Four Most Valuable Midfielder during senior season ...also participated in basketball and track & field in high school ... earned academic all-state in basketball ... part of state champion medley relay team as a sophomore.

Daughter of Craig and Chyleen Nielsen ... born February 17, 1989 in Provo, Utah ... married husband Chris on July 19, 2008 in American Fork, Utah ... graduated from Timpanogos HS in 2007 with a 3.95 GPA and was on the honor roll and a member of the National Honor Society ...sisters Melissa and Amberlyn both played collegiate volleyball.
