Angela Peterson enters her third year as a member of Coach Atoa's staff. Prior to joining the UVSC staff Peterson played collegiate volleyball at New Mexico State University. As an Aggie, she earned All-Conference honors her junior and senior years and was the Pre-Selected Conference Player of the Year for the Sunbelt Conference. She finished her career ranked second at NMSU for the most kills-per-season and third for most kills-per-game.
She earned a bachelor's of business administration, with a major in business management and a minor in finance. Peterson prepped locally for Provo High School where, in her senior year, she was named the Most Valuable Player for her region. She led Provo to a third-place finish at state. She was also named team MVP for Provo both her junior and senior years. Angela is married to former UVSC assistant basketball coach Brandon Peterson. She is the daughter of Frederick (Keli) Lobendahn and LaDonna Lobendahn. This is Peterson's first year of coaching on the collegiate level. Before coming to UVSC, she was an assistant coach for the Diamondback (18's) club team in New Mexico.
