Scott Lee

Lee enters his 20th season on staff at Utah Valley in 2026 and is in his second stint with Sam Atoa’s staff. He took a short break with a stop at Snow College. Utah Valley has made three NCAA Tournament Appearances under Lee and has included three WAC Tournament titles. While on staff, he has helped UVU navigate the changes from the Great West, to the WAC, and now The Big West.

During his current run at Utah Valley, Lee has helped guide the Wolverines to a pair Great West Conference regular season and tournament titles (2011 & 2012), as well as tallying a 181-122 record (.597 winning percentage). He has also helped UVU record a winning record in eight of the past nine seasons and a Division I best 23 victories in 2011 (23-9).

"We're excited to have him back. It will be a huge advantage to have his expertise," said head coach Sam Atoa. "He's an alumni and he loves to be here and that's great for us."

Lee played club volleyball at Utah Valley, helping the team to the NIRSA Division-I National Championship in 2001 while also being named an All-American Libero.

Lee was born in Vicenza, Italy, and grew up in Tucson, Arizona, where he graduated from Sabino High School in 1987.
