Calvin Buhler is entering his second season at Utah Valley in 2007-08.
Prior to coming to UVU, Buhler spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri.
Buhler graduated from Liberty High School in 1995 as a freestyle and greco-roman state champion. He was also a three-time junior national qualifier.
After high school, Buhler attended Truman State, where he wrestled for coach David Schutter. Buhler was a NCAA All-American and a three-time Academic All-American. He was named the NSCA All-American Athlete of the Year. Buhler won over 125 matches in his collegiate career.
He graduated from Truman State in 2000 with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science. He and his wife Katy have two children, Kalli Alexis and Kyler.
