Wayne Watts is entering his first season on the coaching staff at Utah Valley State. He is fresh off of his wrestling career for head coach Cody Sanderson and the Wolverines.

During his time in Orem, Watts compiled a 23-30 record during two seasons. During his junior year, he was 15-14 with a 1st place finish at the UNC (Northern Colorado) Open on November 22, 2003.

Before transferring to Utah Valley State, Watts spent time wrestling for The Citadel, in South Carolina. While at the military academy, he earned Academic All-American honors and was a Division-I Conference Champion.
