FRESHMAN ~ (2005-06): Finished with a 17-16 record (9-9 in duals) in his first season of college wrestling ... won five times at the Old Chicago/Northern Colorado Open on November 19, 2005 ... earned his first collegiate fall over Air Force's James Miller (1:29) on November 19, 2005 ... won three of his final four matches, including a fall over Richard Lohr (Northern Colorado) 2:13 into the match.

Prepped at Centauri High School ... lettered in football, baseball and wrestling ... was a two region champion and placed first at state ... was Rocky Mountain National champ ... finished senior season 45-1 with 23 falls.
