OREM, UTAH - BYU-Hawaii was too much for the Utah Valley State volleyball team in the Wolverine's first official NCAA home match. Two sophomores from Taiwan, Chun Yi Lin and Yu Chuan Weng combined for 42 of the 66 total Seasider kills.
UVSC got off to a good start by winning the first game 31-29, but the Taiwan duo helped shift the momentum by executing 31 kills in the final three games. The Wolverines fell 30-25, 30-27, and 30-27.
Kassidy Brotherson led UVSC with 16 kills and a .419 hitting percentage.

The Wolverines next action will be in the Hampton Inn Classic hosted by in-state rival, University of Utah, in Salt Lake City. They will play the University of Missouri on Friday, and Utah and Washington State on Saturday.
