UVSC finished 2-2 in the tournament, losing 30-24, 30-21, 30-15, to the host Pilots who went a perfect 4-0 to take the title.
"I thought we had a great tournament, finishing second,"Â said head coach Sam Atoa. "I am proud of the girls coming out here and competing as well as they did against four good teams."
UVSC didn't have any players in double-figure kills for the first time this season. Borghetti finished one shy with nine, and setter Lacee Koelliker had eight kills to go along with her 28 assists. Borghetti did have a team-high 11 digs, and Wallauer tallied nine.
Borghetti earns All-Tournament honors for the second straight week, having been the only UVSC player to be named to the All-Tourney team in the BYU/Mizuno Classic week. Against UCF Endres was called upon 20 different times, notching 13 kills and a .500 hitting percentage.
