OREM - The Utah Valley State wrestling concludes its home season on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Activity Center against the University of Wyoming. The Wolverines come into the match with a lot of confidence. They defeated Portland State two weeks ago and tied Western State a week earlier.
"Overall the team has made tremendous improvements since the holiday break," Utah Valley coach Cody Sanderson said. "I'm excited about the match but sad the home season is coming to an end. I feel like we have a lot of momentum right now."
In Utah Valley States win over Portland State seven different wolverines came out victorious.
Saturday is the final home match for seniors Wayne Watts and Darren Cooper.
Wyoming comes into the match with a 4-8 record in dual meets. Wyoming lost to Fresno State in its last dual meet 35-11.
Utah Valley concludes their season at the Northern Colorado Duals on Feb 18.
