RENO, NEVADA - The Utah Valley State softball team lost 10-0 and 12-3 to Nevada-Reno on Saturday. The Wolverines were tied with the Wolf Pack at 0-0 through three and a half innings before the Wolf Pack bats exploded for the 10 runs in the next three innings to win in six innings.
In the second game, Utah Valley scored its only three runs on a three-run homerun by Rachel Hartgrove. Hartgrove finished the day four-for-six.
The two teams conclude their three-game series on Sunday at 11 a.m.
